Middle School Overview
PREPARATION MATTERS
World Journalism Preparatory School offers middle school students in-depth opportunities of study through initiatives such as Algebra for All, College Access for All, Computer Science for All, and the Middle School Quality Initiative. Students receive extra support in ELA and Math. Our eighth-grade students take the Algebra and Living Environment Regents Exams and receive High School credit.
With a seven-year program that follows students from 6th through 12th grade, WJPS students build long term relationships with staff and teachers who nurture in them the confidence to overcome challenges and aspire to college. Students enjoy a unique continuity of curriculum as they move from grade to grade.
